A Fun Free Winter Journal Writing Book

Although I live in northern Florida I am loving the cooler temperatures as we get closer to the first day of Winter. Whether you experience a real  or mild winter it would be fun to have your child go outside each week during winter and record and illustrate what it looks like and feels like. Then at the end of the winter or when your child finishes their journal you can go back and see all the changes as well as see when it was the coldest or snowiest. This activity is aligned with the CCSS Writing Standards for K-2 . What a great project to get the whole family involved!  I hope you enjoy it and will visit my blog to see lots of other activities and resources.
Thanks for all you do to make a difference for your child. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
